JUNGLE WITH RAFTING
4 Días / 3 Noches
DAY 01 CUSCO TO SANTA
MARIA
Passengers will be picked up early in the morning
and driven through the beautiful landscapes
of the Sacred Valley. You will be dropped off
at the 4,316m high Abra Malaga. Here we will
provide you your equipment (gloves and helmets)
following by a 20 minute briefing by our experienced
tour guide. Then we start our bike trip, descend
in the direction of the forests we will pass
by little villages and rivers and you´ll
enjoy your ride through a beautiful landscape.
We arrive in Santa Maria around 1.30 p.m. where
we will have lunch.
After lunch we will go to the old Santa Maria
at about 2.45 p.m where we will start a new
adventure in the lower Urubamba river where
our Rafting (canoeing) trip will take place
for about 2 hours. In these 2 hours in the river,
we will find rapids level II, III and IV. There
is no rafting experience required for these
levels. While in the river we will enjoy the
diversity of flora and fauna of the higher jungle
areas which makes this an unforgettable experience.
Our adventure ends in Maranura, where our bus
is waiting to take us back to Santa Maria.

DAY 02 SANTA MARIA TO SANTA
TERESA - INCA TRAIL
We get up at 5.00 a.m. and after breakfast
we start walking down the riverbank. Along the
way we can see animals from the region, for
example parrots, hummingbirds, eagles, bobcats,
lizards, etc. and also medicinal plants and
fruit trees (banana, mango, orange, mandarin,
cocoa, coffee, etc.). We will reach the village
of Quellomayo where we have lunch and some rest.
We continue until we reach the hot springs of
Santa Teresa. After a relaxing bath we go the
village of Santa Teresa, where we arrive at
approximately 5.00 p.m.

DAY 03 SANTA TERESA TO AGUAS
CALIENTES - INCA TRAIL
Today we get up at 7.00 a.m. and after breakfast
we take our transport to the village Lucmabamba,
where another Inca Trail starts. This trail
was discovered just a few years ago. We will
walk through a beautifull landscape and in the
end you will have a view of Machu Picchu and
the Salkantay peak from the top of Llactapata.
From here it´s 2 more hours walking down
to the Hydroelectric Train Station where the
train departs to Aguas Calientes, the base town
for Machu Picchu. We will have dinner in Aguas
Calientes.

DAY 04: MACHU PICCHU
TO CUSCO
Early in the morning, at 4.00 a.m. we wake
up and we start our walk up to the archeological
ruins of Machu Picchu. This is a climb through
the jungle, where we have the opportunity to
watch the sunrise. After registering in the
control of the park, we will continue to Inti
Punko (bridge of the sun). Then we have a 2
hour guided tour where we will see the highlights
of Machu Picchu. After this you have free time
to spend in the ruins or climb up to Wayna Picchu.
You can go back to Aguas Calientes by bus and
have lunch there before taking the train back
to Ollantaytambo and from there the bus to Cusco.
